DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Hilda was located near latitude 22.2 North, longitude 132.2 West. The depression is moving toward the northwest near 13 mph (20 km/h). A west-northwestward motion is expected over the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Gradual weakening is expected during the next day or so, and Hilda is forecast to degenerate into a remnant low on Friday and dissipate on Saturday.
