DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 900 AM MDT (1500 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Blas was located near latitude 19.2 North, longitude 113.6 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west near 5 mph (7 km/h), and this general motion is expected to continue until dissipation in a couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Some weakening is forecast during the next couple of days, and the remnant low is expected to open into a trough on Wednesday. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches). HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND ---------------------- None.
