DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 500 AM HST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Guillermo was located near latitude 19.1 North, longitude 117.8 West. Guillermo is moving toward the west near 15 mph (24 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue for the next several days. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts. Guillermo is forecast to become a depression on Tuesday, if not sooner, and degenerate to a remnant low on Wednesday night. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 115 miles (185 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
