DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 300 PM MDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Guillermo was located near latitude 18.7 North, longitude 113.8 West. Guillermo is moving toward the west-northwest near 14 mph (22 km/h). A turn toward the west with a slight increase in forward speed is anticipated tonight. The tropical storm is forecast to continue westward for the next several days after that. Maximum sustained winds are near 60 mph (95 km/h) with higher gusts. Some strengthening is possible today and early tomorrow. Gradual weakening is anticipated by early Tuesday. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 115 miles (185 km) from the center.
