DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 900 PM MDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Blanca was located near latitude 15.7 North, longitude 114.6 West. Blanca is moving toward the west near 3 mph (6 km/h). A slightly faster motion toward the west is expected during the next few days. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts. Blanca is forecast to become a remnant low overnight or Friday morning, with its winds decreasing further during the next few days. The remnant low is expected to dissipate early next week.
