DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 300 PM MDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Blanca was located near latitude 15.5 North, longitude 114.3 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 3 mph (6 km/h). A general westward motion with a gradual increase in forward speed is expected over the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds remain near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Gradual weakening is expected over the next several days, and Blanca is likely to degenerate into a remnant low by Friday.
