DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 900 AM MDT (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Blanca was located near latitude 14.3 North, longitude 110.2 West. Blanca is moving toward the west-northwest near 7 mph (11 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue for the next several days with a gradual slowdown and turn toward the west. Maximum sustained winds are near 60 mph (95 km/h) with higher gusts. Gradual weakening is forecast over the next several days.
