DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Estelle was located near latitude 20.6 North, longitude 119.4 West. Estelle is moving toward the west-northwest near 14 mph (22 km/h), and this general motion with a gradual decrease in forward speed is expected over the next couple of days or so. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 60 mph (95 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional weakening is expected during the next couple of days, and Estelle is forecast to become a post-tropical remnant low on Thursday. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 105 miles (165 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 997 mb (29.44 inches).
