DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 300 PM MDT (2100 UTC), the remnants of Sergio were located near latitude 29.3 North, longitude 109.8 West. The remnants are moving toward the northeast near 25 mph (41 km/h), and this motion is expected to continue until dissipation tonight. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1000 mb (29.53 inches). HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND ---------------------- RAINFALL: The remnants of Sergio will likely produce total rain accumulations of 3 to 5 inches, with isolated maximum amounts of 8 inches over northwestern Mexico.
