DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression One-E was located near latitude 12.6 North, longitude 128.6 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 10 mph. A turn toward the northwest with a decrease in forward speed is expected during the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Strong upper-level winds are expected to cause weakening during the next 48 hours, and the depression is forecast to degenerate into a remnant low by tonight or early Saturday. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
