DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 500 PM HST (0300 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Jimena was located near latitude 17.9 North, longitude 140.8 West. The post-tropical low is moving toward the west-northwest near 9 mph (15 km/h). A gradual turn toward the west is expected Saturday and Sunday. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. The post-tropical low will gradually weaken over the next two days and is expected to dissipate on Sunday.
