DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 1100 AM AST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Joyce was located near latitude 31.6 North, longitude 27.4 West. The depression is moving toward the south near 8 mph (13 km/h), and will gradually turn to the southwest and west over the next couple days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Gradual weakening is forecast during the next couple days, and Joyce is forecast to become a remnant low tomorrow.
