SUMMARY OF WATCHES AND WARNINGS IN EFFECT: There are no coastal watches of warnings in effect. DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 1100 AM AST (1500 UTC), the center of Subtropical Storm Ana was located near latitude 34.3 North, longitude 63.0 West. The storm is moving toward the west near 3 mph (6 km/h). A turn toward the north at a slow forward speed is expected later today, followed by a faster motion toward the northeast Sunday and Monday. Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast today, but gradual weakening is expected tonight and Sunday. Ana is expected to dissipate in a couple of days. Winds of 40 mph extend outward up to 105 miles (165 km) mainly to the north of the center.
