Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. PMZ001-041430- Synopsis for the E Pacific within 250 nm of Mexico 616 PM PST Mon Mar 3 2025 .SYNOPSIS...High pressure west of the area will continue to build across the area waters, supporting fresh to strong northerly winds west of 109.5W through Tue morning. Winds will then gradually diminish through Wed night. Rough to very rough seas in large NW swell and northerly waves will maintain seas of 8 to 13 ft and higher across the Baja waters through midday Tue before gradually subsiding through Wed afternoon. In the Gulf of California, fresh to strong NW to N winds in the central portion will spread southward to the southern Gulf by early Tue. Strong to near gale-force SW winds are expected to occur Wed night through Fri in the northern Gulf of California ahead of the next frontal boundary. This next cold front will move through the Baja California waters early Thu through Fri morning, with another round of associated fresh to strong northerly winds behind it, and large NW swell. Strong to near gale-force N winds will develop in the Gulf of Tehuantepec Wed night through Thu, then diminish and become onshore through Sat. Looking ahead, a gale- force gap wind event is possible there by early Sun. Winds will be moderate or weaker elsewhere, except pulsing to fresh to strong at times near Cabo Corrientes. $$ PMZ009-041430- Mexico Border S to 30N within 60 nm of shore- 616 PM PST Mon Mar 3 2025 .TONIGHT...NW winds 15 to 20 kt.
