Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. PMZ001-140845- Synopsis for the E Pacific within 250 nm of Mexico 140 PM PDT Sun Oct 13 2019 .SYNOPSIS...An area of low pressure located a couple of hundred miles SW of the southern tip of Baja California remains broad and elongated, with the potential to develop into a tropical cyclone. Regardless of any tropical development, expect higher winds and seas in the Baja California Sur offshore waters and central and southern Gulf of California in thunderstorms through early this week. Strong to near gale force northerly winds are forecast to persist in the Gulf of Tehuantepec through Tue. Low pressure may develop to the SE of the Gulf of Tehuantepec, potentially moving through the Mexico offshore waters from the SE during the week with increasing winds and seas. A set of large NW swell will propagate into the Baja California Norte offshore waters by the end of the week. $$ PMZ009-140845- Mexico Border S to 29N within 60 nm of shore- 140 PM PDT Sun Oct 13 2019 .TONIGHT...NW winds 10 kt.
