Offshore Waters Forecast for Caribbean Sea, and the Tropical N
Atlantic from 07N to 19N W of 55W.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS...A tropical wave is over the eastern Caribbean near
65W. This wave is producing numerous thunderstorms along with 
strong gusty winds across portions of the eastern Caribbean,
including Puerto Rico, Hispaniola, and adjacent waters. Environmental
conditions are forecast to become more conducive for development 
when the system reaches the western Caribbean Sea and southwestern
Gulf of Mexico late this week and over the weekend, and a tropical
depression could form during that time. Scattered thunderstorms 
along with gusty winds and seas peaking to around 8 or 9  ft will
accompany this wave is it moves across the rest the of the basin
during the forecast period.
