Offshore Waters Forecast for the Tropical N Atlantic from 07N to
22N between 55W and 64W, the SW N Atlantic S of 31N W of 65W
including Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS...Cold front in the southeast Gulf will enter the 
NW Caribbean tonight enhancing fresh to strong northerly winds 
along the Yucatan Channel. The front will weaken into Tue with 
easterly trades returning across the NW Caribbean. Highest winds 
and seas will continue to be in the southern Caribbean, near the 
coast of Colombia, pulsing at nighttime through the forecast 
period. A strong cold front will slide southward into the NW 
Caribbean by the end of the week enhancing winds and seas.

Synopsis for the SW N Atlantic including the Bahamas

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 31N36W to 28N41W, then 
becomes stationary from that point to 24N59W. This boundary will
dissipate within the next 12 to 18 hours. The next cold front 
will move off the Florida coast today, reach the southern 
Bahamas and southern Cuba by Tue, and continue moving eastward
on Wed. Gale force winds will develop ahead of the front off the
 Florida coast and north of the Bahamas today. These winds will
diminish tonight. By the end of the week, a strong cold front 
will push off the northeast Florida coast enhancing winds and 
convection.
