Offshore Waters Forecast for the Tropical N Atlantic from 07N to
22N between 55W and 64W, the SW N Atlantic S of 31N W of 65W
including Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS...Newly formed Tropical Depression Thirty-One located
near 14.2N 74.3W at 1500 UTC moving WSW at 6 kt. Minimum central
pressure 1007 mb. Maximum sustained winds 30 kt gusts to 40 kt.
T.D. Thirty-One will move in a general WSW motion today and is 
expected to reach tropical storm strength near 14N75W this 
evening, reach near 13.8N76W Sat morning, then become a hurricane 
near 14N78.5W around sunrise Sun, then strengthen steadily through
Mon as it approaches the coast along the border of Nicaragua and 
Honduras. Very active weather will persist across coastal Colombia
and the SW Caribbean through the weekend.
