Offshore Waters Forecast for the Tropical N Atlantic from 07N to
22N between 55W and 64W, the SW N Atlantic S of 31N W of 65W
including Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Eta is near 13.8N 83.5W 940 mb at 4 PM EST 
moving W at 4 kt. Maximum sustained winds 120 kt gusts 145 kt. 
Eta will move inland to near 13.8N 84.2W Wed morning and weaken to
a tropical storm near 14.1N 85.5W Wed afternoon. It is forecast 
to become a remnant low near 14.7N 87.2W Thu morning, 15.4N 88.5W 
Thu afternoon, 16.3N 88.5W Fri morning, and 17.0N 87.7W Fri 
afternoon. Eta will strengthen to a tropical storm near 20.0N 
83.5W by Sat afternoon. Outside of Eta, scattered to numerous 
showers and thunderstorms will continue to cover a good portion
of the western and central Caribbean through the end of the week,
while strong to near gale northeast winds remain over the NW 
Caribbean through early Thu, with the exception of gale force 
winds expected over water between Honduras and Belize Wed.

northwestern Cuba will remain over the region tonight into 
Wednesday before gradually dissipating Wed night. Strong to near
