Offshore Waters Forecast for the Tropical N Atlantic from 07N to
22N between 55W and 64W, the SW N Atlantic S of 31N W of 65W
including Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Eta near 14.1N 82.7W 927 mb at 10 PM EST is
moving WSW at 6 kt. Maximum sustained winds have increased to 130
kt gusts 160 kt. Eta will move to near 13.9N 83.3W Tue morning 
with maximum sustained winds 145 kt gusts 175 kt, then inland to 
near 13.9N 84.0W Tue evening with maximum sustained winds 90 kt 
gusts 110 kt. Eta will weaken to a tropical storm near 13.9N 85.0W
Wed morning and continue farther inland and weaken to a tropical 
depression near 14.3N 86.3W Wed evening. Eta will become a remnant
low near 14.8N 87.8W Thu morning and move to well inland to near 
15.4N 88.7W by Thu evening, Outside Eta, scattered to numerous 
showers and thunderstorms will continue to cover a good portion of
the western and central Caribbean through the end of the week 
while strong to near gale northeast winds remain over the 
northwestern Caribbean through early Thu.

central Bahamas and to the Straits of Florida will stall from
