Offshore Waters Forecast for the Tropical N Atlantic from 07N to
22N between 55W and 64W, the SW N Atlantic S of 31N W of 65W
including Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh trade winds will persist across much of the 
Caribbean through Sat, with strong winds over the south-central 
waters expected to pulse to near gale-force speeds near the coast 
of Colombia and in the Gulf of Venezuela. Winds and seas over the
south-central Caribbean will briefly diminish Sun and Mon, then 
increase again by midweek in the wake of a tropical wave crossing
the region. Elsewhere, a tropical wave near 85W that is 
accompanied by scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue 
moving across Central America through Fri.

.SYNOPSIS...Southerly winds will strengthen over the waters N of 
27N and W of 70W this weekend, as the pressure gradient tightens 
between a Bermuda high pressure ridge extending to the central 
Bahamas and low pressure troughing over the SE United States. 
Winds and seas will diminish early next week as the trough weakens
and high pressure builds across the northern waters. Elsewhere, 
moderate to fresh trade winds will prevail south of the ridge, 
with locally strong winds pulsing north of Hispaniola each 
evening.
