Offshore Waters Forecast for the Tropical N Atlantic from 07N to
22N between 55W and 64W, the SW N Atlantic S of 31N W of 65W
including Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS...Strong NE to E winds off the coast of Colombia will
diminish by Sat as the pressure gradient weakens across the 
region. A cold front moving into the NW Caribbean will bring 
strong N winds and building seas tonight, which will diminish
this weekend as the front weakens and pushes into the central 
Caribbean. Fresh to strong winds will develop through the 
Windward Passage and in the lee of Cuba Sun and Sun night. High 
pressure will move eastward across the W Atlc early next week. 
Another cold front may approach the Yucatan Channel Wed night.

Synopsis for the SW N Atlantic including the Bahamas

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from near 31N68W to the Florida
Keys. This front will continue moving SE and reach from 31N57W 
to the southern Bahamas on Sat, then from 31N55W to north of
Hispaniola by Sun morning. Gale force northerly winds and very
large seas up to 20 ft will continue west of the front over the 
waters N of 29N through tonight. Large N swell associated with 
these gales will spread SE through the weekend while gradually 
decaying. Winds and seas will gradually diminish early next week 
before the next cold front moves off the SE U.S. coast and across
the NW waters Wed and Wed night.
