Offshore Waters Forecast for the Tropical N Atlantic from 07N to
22N between 55W and 64W, the SW N Atlantic S of 31N W of 65W
including Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS...Weak low pressure extends from the SW Caribbean
across the Bahamas to near 30N60W this morning. A tropical wave 
across the SE Caribbean today and accompanied by active weather
will shift W and weaken through Thu. A second tropical wave will
enter the tropical Atlc waters this afternoon, and move W through
the Caribbean early Wed through late Fri. Strong high pressure
ridge across the E and central Atlc will build W behind the
second tropical wave and reinforce the existing flow, resulting 
in strong E trades spreading W across the Caribbean E of 73W by 
sunrise on Thu, and extending across the Central Caribbean 
beginning on Fri, then persist through the upcoming weekend.

.SYNOPSIS...Strong to near gale force southerly flow and
scattered thunderstorms will continue E of a trough from 31N69W 
to 23N74W today. A cold front, accompanied by strong NE winds, 
extends from 31N76W to central Florida will race E to a position
from 31N66W to Florida Straits early Wed, then merge with the 
trough from 31N67W to the NW Bahamas to the Florida Straits on 
Wed night. The merged front will move E on Thu, then stall from
