Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS...A warm front extends along the coast of Louisiana
and connects to a low pressure over southern Texas from where a
dissipating stationary front extends to near Tampico, Mexico.
The frontal boundary will dissipate over the Gulf this evening.
High pressure building north of the front over the SE United
States will maintain fresh to strong SE winds over the western
Gulf into tonight, accompanied by rough seas and scattered
showers and thunderstorms. Looking ahead, a weak cold front will
reach the northern Gulf coast Thu, stall across the central Gulf
by late Fri before dissipating Sat. Broad high pressure and
associated ridging will build across the basin Thu night into
Mon, thus supporting moderate to fresh E to SE winds basin-wide
Fri night through Mon.
