Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front has cleared the basin to the SE this
afternoon, but will soon stall just SE of the area and meander
into the weekend before dissipating. Fresh to strong NE winds
and rough seas to 11 ft will continue to affect much of the
basin through Sun as strong high pressure builds over the SE
United States behind the front. Northeast winds will diminish to
moderate to fresh speeds by Mon, then prevail through the middle
of next week.
