Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS...Moderate to fresh NE to E winds are forecast for the
SW Gulf Thu through Thu due to a trough of low pressure. Fresh
to strong northerly winds are expected to develop over the
Veracruz offshore waters during this period. A low will develop
over the SW Caribbean and is forecast to enter the SE Gulf by
Thu night. Environmental conditions could become conducive for
gradual development, and a tropical depression could form over
the southern Gulf of Mexico late during the week. Elsewhere,
gentle to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will
prevail trough Sat.
