Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS...Potential Tropical Cyclone Six is near 21.6N 94.6W
at 5 PM EDT, and is moving northwest at 4 kt. Maximum sustained
winds are 45 kt with gusts to 50 kt, and the minimum central
pressure is 1003 mb. Six will move to 22.3N 95.1W Mon morning,
23.2N 95.7W Mon afternoon, 24.3N 96.0W Tue morning, 25.5N 96.1W
Tue afternoon, and 27.0N 95.7W Wed morning. Six will intensify
to hurricane strength briefly off Louisiana near 29.0N 94.1W Wed
afternoon, then move inland by Wed night. In addition,
associated rough to very rough seas will persist off the coast
of Veracruz through late Mon. Looking ahead, winds and seas will
diminish across the Gulf Thu and Fri.
