Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front extends from Apalachicola,
Florida to Veracruz, Mexico with northerly gales behind the
front off Tampico, Mexico. The front will cross much of the Gulf
today, reaching from Central Florida to the central Bay of
Campeche this evening. Gale force northerly winds will shift
from offshore of Tampico this morning to offshore Veracruz
during the afternoon. The front will then weaken considerably
and move slowly southeastward across the remainder of the basin.
Another cold front will move into the NW Gulf Tue night and
cross the basin by Thu. This front will bring brief gales
offshore Veracruz on Wed.
