Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Eta over the northwestern Caribbean
Sea near 20.4N 80.7W 994 mb at 4 PM EST moving NE at 14 kt.
Maximum sustained winds 50 kt gusts 60 kt. Eta will move to near
21.6N 79.4W late tonight with maximum sustained winds 55 kt
gusts 65 kt, move inland central Cuba near 23.3N 79.0W Sun
afternoon with maximum sustained winds 60 kt gusts 75 kt, then
over the Straits of Florida near 24.7N 79.9W late Sun night with
maximum sustained winds 60 kt gusts 75 kt. Eta will weaken some
as it moves to near 25.2N 81.2W early Mon afternoon with maximum
winds 55 kt gusts 65 kt, maintain little change in intensity as
it moves over the southeastern Gulf to near 25.7N 82.8W late Mon
night, then weaken slightly as it moves to near 26.1N 83.6W
early Tue afternoon, to near 26.5N 84.0W early Wed afternoon,
and continue to weaken as it slowly moves northward through Thu
night. Expect for marine conditions to deteriorate, with
increasing winds and seas as Tropical Storm Eta moves into the
southeastern Gulf of Mexico.
