Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A trough extending from near Apalachicola to NE
Mexico will weaken as it reaches the southern Gulf waters
tonight. A cold front extends from southern Louisiana to inland
southern Texas. The front will reach from the far western
Florida panhandle to 27N92W and to near 26N95W by early this
evening, then reach from near Tampa, Florida to 26N85W and
stationary to the south-central Bay of Campeche early Sun. The
cold front will exit the SE Gulf Mon. Another cold front will
move into the northern Gulf Wed afternoon, reach from the
Florida Big Bend to near 25N90W and to near northeastern Mexico
early Thu. The western part of the front will become stationary
and weaken through late Thu night, while the rest of the front
will weaken as it exits the SE Gulf Fri. Weak high pressure will
build across the area in the wake of this front.
