Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A developing low pres system over the southeastern 
U.S. will draw fresh to strong S to SW winds over the SE Gulf 
this evening. The low will drag a cold front across the northern 
Gulf tonight and Fri. A second cold front will move into the NW 
Gulf Fri night, then eventually extend from S Florida to the SW 
Gulf Sun. High pres following in the wake of this front will move
from the southern plains Sun night to the western Atlc Wed.

.TONIGHT...SW winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to W after midnight.
Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.FRI...N winds less than 10 kt, shifting to SE in the afternoon.
