Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front extends from Apalachee Bay, Florida to near 27N89W this afternoon, followed by a stronger cold front that reaches from Pensacola, Florida to the northeast coast of Mexico near 24N98W. The fronts are expected to merge by Tue, then extend from the Florida Big Bend to near Veracruz, Mexico on Wed. The cold front will reach from southwestern Florida to the Bay of Campeche on Thu, then become stationary and weaken Thu night into Fri. Another cold front is expected to move over the northern Gulf Fri night and Sat, then stall by Sat night.
