Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will reach the northern Gulf tonight,
then stall and weaken across the southern Gulf by Fri night.
Fresh NE winds are expected behind the front. Southerly winds
will increase across the basin this weekend as a low pressure
system tracks across the southern U.S. Another cold front will
move into the NW Gulf early Mon. Smoke from agricultural fires
in southern Mexico may reduce visibility over the SW Gulf and
Bay of Campeche.
