Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extending from SW Louisiana to near Brownsville, Texas is forecast to reach from the Florida Panhandle to the coast of Mexico near 24N98W tonight. Fresh to strong northerly winds and building seas to around 8 ft are expected in the wake of the front. Wind gusts to minimal gale force may occur. The front will become stationary again before it lifts back north as a warm front Sun. High pressure from off the Carolina coast will slide southward early next week setting up an east to west ridge across the area.
