Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from the Straits of Florida to
23N90W, then transitions to a weakening stationary front across
the SW Gulf. The cold front will cross the Yucatan Channel and
pass SE of the Gulf this evening. Associated winds and seas will
diminish over the eastern Gulf tonight into early Thu. Winds and
seas will remain relatively tranquil into the upcoming weekend
as high pressure builds over the NE Gulf. Looking ahead, a cold
front may move off the Texas coast Sat, then stall over the
northern Gulf Sun into Mon.
