Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Patchy fog is expected over portions of the NW Gulf 
through at least Tue. A weak high pressure ridge extending from 
the western Atlantic across the northern Gulf will maintain gentle
to moderate E to SE winds over much of the Gulf through midweek. 
Expect strengthening SE return flow by late this week ahead of a 
cold front that will approach the Texas coast and move into the NW
Gulf Fri night. Elsewhere, fresh to locally strong NE to E winds 
will develop each evening near the northern Yucatan Peninsula, 
then weaken overnight as the associated trough moves offshore.
