Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A squall line will move E from the SE Gulf over S
Florida tonight. A cold front extends from 1014 mb low pres
centered over the NE Gulf near 28.5N84W to 23N88W to 20N93W to
the Isthmus of Tehuantepec. The low will shift to the E of the
area tonight, while the trailing cold front will sweep SE across
the Gulf through late Sat. Strong to near gale force winds over
the SW Gulf will subside as high pres builds over the western
Gulf. The high will pass E across the Gulf Sun and Mon, ahead of
another cold front moving off the Texas coast late Tue night.
