height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Early this morning, a cold front extends from near
Cape Coral, Florida to the Bay of Campeche, where it has stalled
into eastern Mexico. By this afternoon, the front will move SE
of the area. Fresh to strong N winds will prevail behind the
front through Tue. Gale conditions are occurring the the western
Bay of Campeche offshore Veracruz Mexico, and these winds will
prevail into tonight. As high pressure builds into the Gulf,
winds and seas will diminish Tue night, but as the high moves
east, strong southerly winds will develop in the NW Gulf Wed and
Wed night.
