Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weakening stationary front extends from the
Florida Keys NW to near Galveston, Texas. This front will
dissipate over the Gulf today. The strong easterly winds to the
north of the front over the NE Gulf will diminish today and seas
will gradually subside. A cold front will move off the Texas
coast early this evening, then SE to reach a Clearwater Florida
to Bay of Campeche line by Sun evening, and finally SE of the
area by early Mon. Strong N winds will follow this cold front,
and gale conditions are expected to develop from offshore
Tampico Mexico into the western Bay of Campeche Sun and Sun
night. Offshore Veracruz, gales may persist through Mon night.
