Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A stationary front from southern Louisiana to northern Mexico will be overtaken by a strong cold front that will move off the Texas coast later today. The cold front will reach from the Florida panhandle to the Bay of Campeche tonight, then exit the Gulf by Sat afternoon. Increasing winds and building seas are expected across the Gulf as the front moves across the Gulf waters.
