height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending across the Straits of Florida
to near 21N89W will move SE of the Gulf overnight. Fresh to
strong southerly return flow will develop over the western Gulf
on Sun and persist through early Mon. A strong cold front will
move off the Texas coast Mon night, extend from the Florida
Panhandle to the Bay of Campeche Tue, then move across the SE
Gulf on Wed. Gale force northerly winds are expected west of the
front near the coast of Mexico Tue through Wed. Winds and seas
will diminish over the central Gulf Thu and Thu night.
