Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A weak stationary front extends from the Florida Big Bend to developing low pressure near 29N88W to 26N91W. The low pressure will track NE tonight, and the front will transition to a cold front as it passes across the eastern Gulf through Sat. High pressure will shift eastward across northern Florida on Sun, allowing for strengthening return flow to develop over the western Gulf ahead of an approaching cold front. This front will move off the Texas coast on Mon, and extend from the Florida Panhandle to the Bay of Campeche on Tue. Gale force northerly winds are possible west of the front near the coast of Mexico late Tue through Wed as the front continues SE across the Gulf.
