Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from near Pensacola FL to just west of the Yucatan Peninsula, where it has become stationary. As the front further stalls and weakens tonight and Sun, winds and seas will gradually diminish over the western Gulf. The front will dissipate Mon as it lifts some northward. Another strong cold front is expected to move into the NW Gulf Wed night followed by strong northerly winds, with the possibility of these winds reaching gale force late Wed night into Thu.
