Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weakening cold front cross the Gulf from near
Cedar Key Florida to just north of Veracruz, Mexico. Scattered
showers and thunderstorms are occurring along this boundary over
the central and western Gulf. This front will become stationary
by early Wednesday, from near Sarasota, Florida to the western
Bay of Campeche. Strong NE winds behind the front will continue
through Wed afternoon. Winds will gradually veer southeast
across the basin Thu in advance of next cold front, which is
expected to reach the Texas coast Fri morning. Gale force NW to
N winds are expected over the western Gulf behind this front Fri
through Sat afternoon.
