Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front for October currently extends
across the Gulf of Mexico from the Florida Panhandle near 30N86W
to 29N88W, then continues as a stationary front to 26N91.5W to
22N94W to SE of Veracruz Mexico near 18N94W. The front will
begin to weaken Sun and is expected to dissipate by Mon. Gales W
of the front near Veracruz will end by Sun morning. Elsewhere,
high pressure NE of the Gulf will promote quiescent conditions
through Tue. On Wed, a much weaker cold front will push E across
the northern Gulf of Mexico. No tropical cyclone activity is
expected for the next several days over the Gulf.
