Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak low pressure trough over the SW Gulf will
dissipate tonight. Another trough extending from Belize through
the Yucatan Channel to the Florida Keys will lift northward
across the SE Gulf tonight into Tue. A cold front will enter the
NW Gulf this evening, then extend from near the Florida Big Bend
region to the Bay of Campeche on Tue. NE winds will strengthen
to moderate to fresh speeds across the western Gulf behind the
front, with strong NW winds expected offshore of Veracruz
tonight and Tue. The front will weaken Wed through Thu. Another
cold front will move into the NW Gulf Fri night.
