more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The pressure gradient between high pressure over the
southeastern U.S. and weak low pressure in the NW Caribbean will
support fresh NE to E winds over the east-central Gulf through
Thu night. The low will pass near or over the Yucatan Peninsula
Thu night, then move into the SW Gulf on Fri and open up into a
surface trough this weekend. NE winds will freshen over the NW
Gulf Mon and Mon night as a cold front moves SE across the
northern waters.
