more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Depression Imelda continues to move slowly
northward through eastern Texas near 31N95W. Showers and
thunderstorms will persist tonight off the upper Texas coast.
Imelda is forecast to continue drifting north and dissipate over
northeast Texas Fri. Elsewhere, high pressure will prevail over
the Gulf waters through the remainder of the week into the
weekend. Gentle to moderate winds will prevail much of the
period, with winds becoming fresh to strong over the
northeastern Gulf Thu night into early Sat.
