Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...Relatively weak high pressure will continue just north of the Gulf through tonight maintaining gentle to moderate easterly flow throughout. Stronger high pressure will begin to build in from the northeast across Florida and the eastern Gulf Tue through Fri allowing for fresh northeast to east winds to exist over the eastern Gulf, including the Straits of Florida, and over most of the central Gulf. Northeast winds will pulse to fresh speeds to the northwest of the Yucatan Peninsula each evening during the period after pulsing to fresh to strong tonight.
