Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front will move into the northern Gulf
of Mexico today through Wed, with moderate to fresh N to NE
winds prevailing behind the front. The front will stall from the
Florida Big Bend to near Brownsville on Wed night, then
dissipate through Thu. Weak high pressure will build over the NE
Gulf Fri and Sat. A surface trough will move off the Yucatan
Peninsula each night, supporting fresh to occasionally strong
winds in the eastern Bay of Campeche.

.THIS AFTERNOON...W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 ft in the afternoon. 
.TONIGHT...W to NW winds 10 to 15 kt, except NW portion becoming
N to NE 15 to 20 kt late. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
.WED...SW to W winds 10 to 20 kt, except NW portion N to NE winds
10 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
